Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How does the SHINEKNOT LED emergency recessed light activate during a power outage?
A: The lamp continuously charges its built-in 18650 lithium battery while mains power is available. The moment mains power is interrupted, the internal circuitry automatically switches the LED to battery power — no manual action required. Once power is restored, the battery begins recharging automatically.
Q: Can I use this emergency tube light as my regular ceiling light too?
A: Yes! In Mode 2 (Emergency + Lighting), you simply connect the switch wire (yellow) in addition to Live and Neutral. Your wall switch then controls normal on/off operation, while the emergency backup function remains active at all times.
Q: What ceiling cutout size do I need to install this recessed emergency light?
A: The lamp requires a 125 mm diameter cutout in your ceiling. The overall unit dimensions are 147 × 65 mm. It is designed for standard recessed/embedded ceiling installations and fits most modern suspended and plasterboard ceilings.
Q: What certifications does this LED emergency lamp carry?
A: This lamp holds a comprehensive range of international safety and quality certifications including CE, FCC, RoHS, UL, SAA, CCC, GS, LVD, EMC, VDE, and CQC — making it suitable for use in multiple countries and ensuring it meets rigorous electrical safety standards.
