Installation Guide

1. Power down your computer completely and remove the side panel of your case.
2. Route the cable through a rear chassis opening or grommet, bringing it to your preferred external position.
3. Locate the front-panel header on your motherboard. Unplug the existing Power SW, Reset SW, Power LED, and HDD LED connectors and replace them with the corresponding connectors from this switch.
4. Check polarity: Ensure Power LED+ and HDD LED+ connectors are correctly oriented (positive electrode as shown in the wiring diagram).
5. Want to keep front-panel buttons too? Use the included 1-to-2 splitter adapter so both the original and external switches function simultaneously.
6. Test before closing up: Power on your PC and confirm all functions (power, reset, LEDs) work correctly. Tidy cables with the included tie, then close your case.
