Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Is this mini macro keyboard compatible with Mac?
A: The keyboard is plug-and-play on most systems, but the custom programming software currently requires a Windows computer to configure key mappings. Additionally, the included USB-A to USB-C cable may not be fully compatible with certain Mac Pro models. Once keys are programmed on Windows, the keyboard will function on other systems.
Q: Can I change the switches on this mechanical keyboard?
A: Yes! This mini macro keyboard features hot-swap switch support, so you can swap out the OUTEMU mechanical switches for other compatible switches at any time — no soldering required.
Q: How many keys can I program, and what can I assign?
A: Every key is fully programmable. You can assign up to 5 characters or commands per key, including keyboard shortcuts, macros, and custom sequences. This makes it ideal for tools like Photoshop, video editors, streaming software, and more.
Q: What's the difference between the 3-key and 6-key versions?
A: Both versions include 1 programmable rotary knob. The 3-key version is the most compact option for minimal desk space, while the 6-key version gives you more programmable buttons for a wider range of shortcuts — both are equally portable and fully customisable.
