Why Every Driver Needs a Set of Jumper Cables

A dead battery is one of the most common reasons drivers get stranded. These cables are compact enough to store easily, yet powerful enough to handle most passenger vehicles.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What vehicles are these 500A jumper cables compatible with?

A: These heavy duty 500A jumper cables are compatible with most standard passenger cars, SUVs, trucks, and light-duty vehicles. The 500A peak rating is suitable for most gasoline-powered engines. For very large diesel engines, you may want a higher-rated cable.

A: Yes! The 1.5-meter (approximately 5-foot) cable length is designed to comfortably reach between two vehicles parked bumper-to-bumper or side by side in most standard configurations.

Q: Are the clamps safe to handle during jump-starting?

A: Absolutely. The clamps feature PVC-coated insulated handles to protect your hands from electrical contact, and the thick PVC cable insulation prevents accidental shorts during use.
