How to Use

1. Keep the device away from the surface to be scanned, power it on, and set the function switch to position 1 (Metal Detection). Slowly adjust the rotary switch until the device reaches a silent, lightless state.
2. Position the detection bar (DETECT) parallel to and flat against the wall surface. Move it slowly across the scanning area. A visual and/or audible alert will trigger when metal is detected.
3. To check for live AC wiring, switch the function switch to position 2. Slowly move the detection bar left and right over the area — the device will alert you when a live wire is detected.
4. Once finished, power off the device and remove or store the battery if not in use for extended periods.
