Important Usage Notes

  1. Kit includes the complete driver circuit board and brass piece. Power supply and cooling unit must be provided separately.
  2. For continuous operation, use a fan blowing down from above to cool the resonance capacitors and other components.
  3. If using a switching power supply: allow the output voltage to reach at least 12V before connecting the induction heating circuit, to prevent simultaneous MOSFET conduction and component damage during slow-start.
  4. The object being heated inside the coil should not exceed 1/5 of the coil's volume (heating cylinder diameter should be less than 1/3 of the coil's inner diameter) to avoid overload.
  5. Although the circuit can tolerate 20–30A momentarily, keep the working current at or below 15A for safe, reliable operation. An inline ammeter is highly recommended.
  6. Recommended input voltages for general use: 24V or 36V. Higher voltage increases heating speed but also generates more heat.
  7. Note: New and old board versions may be shipped randomly.
